The 26th of July is Kargil Vijay Diwas for us Indians today. Indians now experience conflicted emotions, with some of us feeling guilty for the sacrifices made and others feeling happy for the victory. The Kargil Vijay Diwas is marked as a day of remembrance for their bravery and selflessness in service to the nation. Operation Vijay refers to the action that took place throughout the war. The war of Kargil’s history:- Pakistan sparked the conflict by sending troops into Indian territory in the Kargil region. From May to July 1999, or three months, this fight raged on.On May 3rd, 1999, the Indian army began operation Vijay in response to the initial infiltration. Retaking the LoC check Post is the operation’s goal. A recent airstrike at Safed Sagar on May 26th supported the Indian army. On July 26th, 1999, operation Vijay declared their success by recapturing all the Military posts in Kargil. Kargil Vijay Diwas ceremony: – At the Kargil War Memorial in Drass, Ladakh, the main ceremony is held. On July 25 and 26, the Indian army will once again host a two-day celebration at the Kargil War Memorial. Rajnath Singh, the defense minister, is the event’s main guest.
