Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi, is celebrated all over the country, this is especially for lord Ganesha. Everyone put the idol of Ganesha for 4-5 days in the society and home, worship them and then they go for visarjan.

This is celebrated because on this day lord Ganesh took birth, and it is mainly celebrated in Maharashtra at initial but now it’s widely spread over the world, according to records and stories, this festival was started back in the 17th century by the Maratha Empire.
